Not a brochure site — a quiet command center for a 20-year cattery. We moved Blossom Ragdolls off a generic site builder onto a custom platform that runs the breeding program: pedigrees, litters, health records, and live kitten listings, all editable by the owner without touching code.

The challenge
Blossom Ragdolls has spent two decades building one of the most respected blue-eyed pointed Ragdoll bloodlines in the country. But their online presence was a generic, off-the-shelf site builder — fine for a few photos and a phone number, useless for the thing a serious cattery actually does all day: run a living breeding program.
What we built
Behind the public site is a full admin platform to manage cats — Kings & Queens, retired breeders, and kittens — alongside litters with parentage links, awards, genetics, and shot records, with pricing, availability, and visibility all controlled per cat.
Public pages for available kittens and adults, a Kings & Queens showcase of the active breeding program, and a Blossom Families page celebrating placed and kept cats — each cat flows automatically into the right section based on its status. A bonded-pair feature even lets two cats share one profile.
Role-based admin access (read / write / delete) lets the owner add a litter, publish a kitten, schedule a reveal for later, or mark one reserved — instantly, with no developer in the loop.
The client site is styled to the cattery's own palette — warm cream, champagne-gold accents, and deep-brown ink, with the Ragdoll's signature blue as the accent — over a full-bleed hero, generous whitespace, and gallery-grade photography.
A complete SEO layer — clean titles and descriptions, Open Graph cards, a self-updating sitemap, and LocalBusiness structured data — so the cattery ranks and shares well.
We stood the site up, migrated the content, and handled the full cutover off Squarespace — DNS, HTTPS certificate, and a zero-downtime production deploy.
