Beacon quick start

Up and running in 7 steps. Everything happens in the theme editor — Online Store → Themes → Customize. No code needed.

Enter your store's address and each step gets a button that opens the right page in your Shopify admin.

  1. Add Beacon

    Online Store → Themes → Add theme → Upload zip file, choose the Beacon zip from your download, then choose Customize.

  2. Pick colors and fonts

    Theme settings → Colors → Color palette, then Typography for your fonts.

  3. Add your logo

    Theme settings → Logo, plus a favicon.

  4. Build your menu

    Departments, then categories, then groups — it becomes the mega menu.

  5. Turn on filters

    Install Shopify's free Search & Discovery app and choose your filters.

  6. Fill your home page

    Swap the sample content for yours, then preview on a phone and a computer.

  7. Publish

    When you're happy, choose Publish.
